This is what maximizing energy asset value looks like

We dreamt of a better energy monitoring platform. Then we built it. With PVPulse:
User interface showing options to create a report with selectable report types including Solar Production Report, Asset Performance Overview, and Energy Trend Analysis, with a detailed Production Trend Report preview in the center.

Reports are exciting. You turn analytics into opportunities with streamlined dashboards.

Engineers & operators can see daily energy vitals on one unified dashboard, complete with portfolio-wide generation data, alert summaries, and performance heat maps.

Dashboard showing alert management with 250 total alerts including high and low priority, a graph of combined production impact over a day, and a hardware performance summary including active inverters, online and offline meters, last data received, and 7-day uptime percentage.

Troubleshooting is effortless. You identify and resolve issues quickly.

Meaningful alerts save engineers and operators time and hassle. Access to the PVPulse mobile app for iOS and Android streamlines communication between on-the-ground O&Ms and managing teams.

Interactive global map with site status indicators and summary panels showing portfolio overview, capacity, inverter availability, site performance, and alerts for multiple countries.

Scaling your projects isn’t risky. You have visibility and control across all portfolio assets.

Engineers & operators can view comparative data analysis across portfolios, sites, devices, and components.

Dashboard showing today's changes with counts of new alerts, inverter failures, performance drops, and tickets created, plus a list of critical sites including Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Amazon, and Lowe's with their loss impact, today's power generation, inverter online status, and site view buttons.

Operations move fast, saving you time.

Features like automated letter grade benchmarking, top 10 critical site rankings, and daily performance snapshots save engineers & operators time during their workday and help EPCs & developers avoid project delays.

Dashboard showing energy data with 143 kWh energy today, 131.61 kW AC power, 4.350 GWh energy lifetime, 9.7°C temperature, 92% humidity, 50,891 trees planted, and 1,705,058 tons of CO2 avoided, including a bar graph of power usage from midnight to 8 PM.

You get every kilowatt you paid for.

Asset owners & Investors maximize ROI and improve sustainability metrics with optimal uptime and yield..

Solar monitoring frequently asked questions

Whether you manage small or large commercial and industrial (C&I), utility, or grid-scale projects, PVPulse delivers the insights and control you need. NextWave’s expert team integrates available hardware features into a tailored package optimized for your business and your budget. This includes auxiliary device monitoring (weather stations, trackers, sensors, cameras, and more), a durable metal NEMA4 weatherproof enclosure, supplemental battery and UPS options, SCADA control, and fiber-optic capabilities.

Yes! While we recommend a full turnkey solution with PVPulse solar asset management software and NextWave’s precision DAS, PVPulse can also be retrofitted to work with your existing hardware, giving you enhanced solar monitoring and analytics without replacing your current setup.

Unlike many other providers with clunky interfaces and slow support, NextWave prides itself in being a trusted solar monitoring system company that pairs powerful software with responsive, hands-on customer service. Our team guides you through setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization, so you can get the most value from your solar assets without the frustration common with other platforms. If something goes wrong, we’re here to help, offering boots-on-the-ground service and a customer-first philosophy.

Yes, NextWave’s PVPulse solar power monitoring system is continuously updated to align with evolving interconnection, telemetry, and reporting standards across major ISOs and utilities. PVPulse also supports renewable energy credit (REC) reporting requirements based on regional tracking systems such as WREGIS, WECC, NYGATS, and other market registries. The monitoring platform’s flexible reporting framework ensures your assets remain compliant with local regulations, renewable certification programs, and ESG disclosure needs.

Yes. The PVPulse mobile app for iOS and Android gives you full access to asset performance data, alerts, and reports from anywhere. Field teams can log notes, close alerts, and collaborate with asset managers directly from the app.

No. PVPulse can preserve your historical performance data by importing records from most major monitoring platforms. Your data remains intact, comparable, and easily accessible within PVPulse for ongoing analysis and reporting. Historical data can be stored and used in perpetuity.

When you call NextWave, you’ll always reach a real person. NextWave’s support is staffed by experienced engineers and energy professionals based in the United States. Our team understands both the technology and the systems behind it, so when you call, you get direct, knowledgeable help — no automated responses or call centers.

NextWave hardware is designed for low maintenance, long-term use. Most hardware should not need more than a simple check during regular annual site maintenance. The exceptions to this are irradiance sensors, some of which require regular calibrations every 1-5 years, and UPS batteries, which require replacement depending on usage. Please contact NextWave Sales or Support for more information.

We work hard to make your job easy. The NextWave Energy Monitoring customer success team handles the majority of your solar monitoring system’s initial set up work, and will communicate with your team throughout the process to ensure it meets your operational needs. The amount of time required from the customer will vary depending on site and portfolio complexity, but is typically between 30-60 min per site.

NextWave abides by stringent data security protocols. All data collected through PVPulse is encrypted in transit and at rest using enterprise-grade protocols. Data ownership remains entirely with the customer, and access can be managed through customizable user permissions and audit tracking.
